Junior

Junior!!!    Junior is a male german shepherd dog, 86 lbs and neutered.  His birthday is February 1 and is now 6 years old.  But he still has a lot of playful puppy personality left in him.   Junior is super easy and eager to please.  He doesn’t go far from the pack and wants to be around people as much as possible.  He is excited to see us when we return and is ready for a belly rub or just some petting.  He is potty trained, crate trained and will generally do his business right away when outside.    Junior is not mouthy or food aggressive.  He also will let you grab his collar if you need to and responds well to No.  He knows how to sit, down, wait/stay and follows me inside when it is time to go inside.  He enjoys a good brushing too.   As for walks… Junior will get excited to go when you grab the leash, and he is pretty good on the leash.  When he sees another dog, he does pull and bark,  but we are working on it.   Junior is spending his time inside with most of the day and is laid back, usually sleeping close by if he isn’t watching the driveway for activity.   He will alert if someone comes near the house or if the neighbors are making a lot of noise in the next yard.  Overall, Junior is a great companion, still has a lot of playful spirit, wants to please his people, and will cuddle up on the couch if you want him to…or if not next to the couch! Due to an unfortunate change in family dynamic, Junior was returned to GSGSR.  Junior was adoted at 8 weeks of age and has been with his adopter for the past 6 years. More
