Fundraising

Along with volunteers, the other crucial element for any rescue organization is money. Without financial resources, Golden State German Shepherd Rescue could not afford to pay for needed veterinary care for our dogs, supplies for our adoption days, other administrative and governmental fees among other things.

There are several ways you can help us:

• Grant Writing – we're looking for volunteers with grant experience to help us find opportunities we can apply for
• Merchandise Sales – do you like to sell? help us form a committee to sell logo and GSD-themed products
• Annual Gala – GSGSR holds one major fundraiser each year with planning beginning in January for our Fall Fundraising Gala. There are many ways we can use help with the Gala: selling raffle tickets, obtaining an item for our auctions, soliciting businesses and individuals for their support either as a donor or a corporate sponsor. If asking for money is difficult there are many other ways to help on the committee. Please email us at info@gsgsrescue.org if you are interested in helping with the Gala. Just mention Fundraising Gala in your subject.
