Golden State German Shepherd 10th Anniversary Fundraiser "Sunday Brunch"

Golden State German Shepherd Rescue celebrates Sunday Brunch! Sunday, October 20th 2019, please join Golden State German Shepherd Rescue for an afternoon celebrating our 10 year anniversary! This year’s fundraising event will be held on the Vineyard Lawn at the beautiful and scenic Wente Family Winery in Livermore. Come out and support the rescue as we toast and give thanks to the past 10 years. In this time we have helped to rescue over 800 German Shepherds and German Shepherd Mixes. With the help of our volunteers, that’s over 800 new families and happy ever after’s created!

The afternoon will consist of a family style lunch with appetizers and dessert, music, meeting ambassador dogs, silent and live auctions, spending time with friends, and of course, lots of delicious wine!

This past year, Golden State has not only raised and distributed funds to treat our medical dogs, to support our fosters with necessary supplies and vet visits, and to spay and neuter our dogs, we’ve also been a force in the community for groups who need our help, such as donating for medical and training to other rescue groups who are taking on dogs we physically cannot, donating to help out Oakland Animal Shelter during their canine flu epidemic, as well as supporting the Sacramento Community to acquire a police K9 in the memory of fallen Sacramento Police Officer Tara O’Sullivan. Our goal this year is to help rescue and place 60 German Shepherds.

We hope that you can come out and help support us as we look towards a new decade of German Shepherd rescue!
