Mercedes

Female 18.8 years

Mercedes is about 4 yrs old.  She seems to be a GSD/Nordic/Collie cross breed.   We brought her into our program because she was scheduled to be euthanized that same day and she is about as sweet and easy a dog as you could want.  She has a plush coat with beautiful colors of cream, black, and some white.   She is OK with othe dogs and OK with cats.  Mercedes is housebroken and very quiet.   We know that she lived with another dog (she was found with a male dog) and that she likes the company of a gentle male dog, but she would also be OK as an only dog.  She is at first overwhelmed with the changes in her life, but if you give her 24 hrs., she will be the best dog ever.   This would be a great dog for a family that wants to lavish their love on a sweet pet.  Her coat is like cashmere (ohhhh so soft) and she appears to be very healthy.   Mercedes does not like pushy dogs, but she is fine with dogs that are respectful.  Mercedes is submissive in nature and she is not a watch dog!    More
