Male 3.2 years
Ready for Adoption Added July 28, 2021
"Jack" is a gorgeous three year old male that was surrendered by his owner to the Stockton shelter after the owner was hospitalized and there were no family members willing or able to take him.
Jack is currently being fostered by a Golden State German Shepherd alumni, Melody, and they are getting along great. Jack is learning that a crate is a good thing, appears to be housebroken, and enjoys going on walks. His foster mom says that Jack is "quite the goofy boy" and has a bubbly personality. He is very treat motivated so training has been going well (just so long as there are treats ready and available).
Jack would do best with someone experienced with the GSD breed, one who will follow through with "rules, boundaries, and limitations" and will be committed to consistent training and exercise (did I mention Jack enjoys going on walks?).
Adoption Fee includes spay or neuter, vaccinations including rabies, worming, microchip, and a collar.
