Viridi is one of the five 'Crayon Color Gang'. This litter all had different color collars put on by the shelter. Each of their names is either a Greek/German or Latin name of the color they were wearing when they came to us. Viridi is Latin for Green.
It appears the litter did not have much human contact before coming to rescue, but they are blossoming into wonderful pups and will be amazing dogs. Because they are pups, and recent aquisitions, we don't have much info on them. However, this is what we have noticed so far.
Little Viridi is going to be an exceptional pet and become a very special member of the family. He is easy-going sweet and loving in nature, very smart and wants to please
He is a playful, happy-go-lucky dude who is confident and curious. He knows his 'sit' and 'down' commands, and is working on his leash training. He is also crate trained, and crates-up in a second.
Is Green the color for you?
We carefully choose homes for our puppies as they require owners who are home enough, and have the time, energy and patience to guide the puppy through their chewing, digging, and mouthing stages (which can last through adolescence), and who will provide regular exercise, socialization and training so the puppy will grow up to be a mannerly adult dog. All puppies bark incessantly, dig, and destroy things if they are left alone for long periods of time, and thus, need to be with owners who do not leave them alone for long hours.
