Ramy is a happy, friendly, goofy senior boy, who is looking for a home to show him love, interest and companionship for his golden years. He was found as a stray in the valley, and we don't think he had much care prior to rescue. We are currently treating him for a possible eye infection, and he seems to have a little hitch in his giddy up, but hey, who doesn't at his age! He was on a medical watch in the shelter so he didn't get alot of yard time, but we were able to test him with both a male and female GSD, he was excited to meet them, but had no negative reactions, even when they weren't so polite to him.
Ramy is in a foster home with 4 other GSD's and we hear that he prefers the women of the household over the men. When he was in the shelter he was adored by all the female volunteers, and seemed to connect to them.
We don't think he had much in the form of human contact, so he will need some time to get used to being around people. He didn't mind being pet or physcially evaluated, but it seems he hasn't walked on a leash in his prior life, so work will be needed for that. Ramy will need to warm up to you on his own time, and it shouldn't be rushed. In terms of cats, Ramy seems interested but not aggressive. He is working on his "no" commands and still needs work on consisten recall and "sit".
