Adopted Added November 07, 2020
Cooper is coming back to rescue. He was adopted as a young pup at 3 months, and unfortunately the adopters allergies are preceding asthma attacks, so they are reluctanly needing to rehome him. Cooper is just a little over a year and has been with his adopter since they adopted him in June, so he is very comfortable with his name. This is what they have to say about his behavior:
He is great with the cat and they play all the time. He is great with other dogs loves to chase them and be chased. Not aggressive at all. He sometime comes to work with me and sleeps under my desk until it's time to play at breaks and lunch. He does get car sick sometimes, so I have learned not to feed him before our drive. He is super smart and probably the smartest dog I have ever met. Cooper knows his basic commands like sit, stay, down, bed and shake, He is still a puppy and does not like to be separated, so we crate him when we go out because he becomes a little anxious and can be prone to digging when left alone in the yard.
He sleeps in his bed in our bedroom at night and is a total house dog. He hasn't really had the opportunity to be around kids but without a doubt would be great with them. In fact, I think he would love it. He will play ball for hours but will also lay quietly at your feet. Cooper loves to walk and is quite good on a leash.
Cooper is available now!
