Female 2.3 years
Adopted Added May 05, 2018
Faline comes to us from Stanislaus Animal Services, where she was found as a stray. She get's along well with everyone in the house. Faline is a little shy being a submissive and timid nature, and is very sweet and friendly. She is sentsitive to correction and wants to please. She warms up quickly to those around her. It looks like she has not had much exposure to everyday things, like water hoses and vacuums. She is very fearful of these things and will need exposure slowly and carefully. She is a soft sweet dog, but loves to play with other dogs and will hold her own. Having another dog seems to build her convidence, she is a follow the leader type dog, but given time she could be fine by herself. Faline would bond her self to her new family very quickly.
According to her trainer Faline has the potential to excel in obedience or dog sports. She does not have the deep bark of a GSD, but a happy, hello bark when the others are not playing with her. She is young and on the small side. She maybe at her height, however she is still underweight and loves her meals and treats which she takes gently. She is crate trained and so far house trained.
If you are looking for a sweet, gently female that you want to curl up on the couch with Faline would be that girl.
She will be at our next Adoption Day so come out and meet her.
