Adopted Added March 11, 2018
See me at the next Adoption Day!
Vance came to us from the Oakland Shelter. He was dropped off just before this past Christmas by a person that said a friend left the dogs on his property and went out of country and never came back. When we first brought him out he was very shut down and shy. Once he got out into the fresh air he started to come out of his shell. He is on the smaller side. We are not sure what his past entailed, it appears he had a heavier handler and may have been punished more than necessary. He already knows how to sit, give 5, and when he lays down he rolls over for belly rubs. He has a lot of character and will be a great dog with the right family. We are still getting to know him. So far he gets along with other dogs. We will be cat testing him shortly.
