See me at the next Adoption Day!
Sally is approximately 5 years old and a very tolerant mama dog. She is on the small side weighing in about 50 pounds. It looks like she has had several litters and then tossed aside. She is in a wonderful foster homeand we will post more as we get to know her.
She is a dog that would love to be by someone's side and just be loved on. She melts around her people. She is definitely a lover! She is extremely affectionate. Sally has been going on daily walks and even picked up her pace for some runs with foster brother Gentry! She's getting conditioned to keep up with him.
As we think that Sally didn't have the best previous life, she will need some training and home corrections. She does alert bark, when people are coming to the yard or house, but nothing aggressive. This could lead to nuisance barking if left alone for too long, but that will need to be corrected with some consistent training. She doesn't much take to the crate but has been trustworthy over night within the house, and so far hasn't seemed to get into much trouble.
Sally may do well with an older couple or person who is home alot to help give Sally a consistent life, that consists of lots of love, affection and training.
