Special needs (Health)
My name is Boscoe and my rear legs were hurt really bad. Golden State found out about it and stepped in to get me my surgery, unfortunately the doctor was not able to save my right rear leg and they removed it. That is not going to stop me from being a super wonderful boy.
I am going to be in rehab for awhile until I get really steady on my three legs, I found out that my foster brother also only has three legs. I have been hearing from others in Golden State Rescue friends having only 3 legs is no big deal. I may not be able to run as fast as others, but I have a lot of love to give and I am going to learn all kinds of new things.
So stay tune for my healing and my progress....
We carefully choose homes for our puppies as they require owners who are home enough and have the time, energy and patience to guide the puppy through their chewing, digging, and mouthing stages (which can last through adolescence) and who will provide regular exercise, socialization and training so the puppy will grow up to be a mannerly adult dog. All puppies bark incessantly, dig and destroy things if they are left alone for long periods of time and thus, need to be with owners who do not leave them alone for long hours.
