Gabby, short for Gabrielle, is one of those dogs that just draws people to her. She was found as a stray without a microchip or tag, and her previous owners were not found. We think she's between 6-7 months old and is currently a little on the thin side. She will go for a vet visit and be spayed this week.
She has only been with us a very short while but so far we've noticed that she is gentle and has a soft personality. She rides quietly in the car but has gotten car sick a few times. She is sleeps quietly in a crate all night. She seems to prefer meeting calm dogs and is a little overwhelmed by those that are too energetic.Once she feels safe with a new dog, though, she will engage in play. It appears that she does have some prey drive and wants to chase the birds or squirrels. Definitely motivated by treats.
Gabby is easy to walk on leash and is starting her journey to explore the neighborhood sights and sounds. She is still very puppy-like and will chew inappropriate objects but is happy to have a dog chew. She is just learning her house manners - like not getting on the kitchen table! Gabby is an affectionate pup and loves being around you.
