Mac is almost 3 yrs old.   He was owned by a family since 8 weeks old.   His owner is an Iraq veteran who sustained an injury requiring a change in their life style and some surgery.   This led to them not being able to care for him and they asked if we could find him a home.  He is fully trained, OK with other dogs, and appears to be very healthy.    Mac's only need is to be a housedog, and to have someone who is home most (but not necessarily all) of the time.    He whines if left alone for long hours.   He is not destructive, and is very well mannered.   He loves to go for rides in the car, and loves to go places with his family.   This boy loves to play with other dogs!  Mac did live with a cat when he was young, but has not lived with one in a long time, so we are not sure of his reaction to cats now.
