Lucas, also known as Luke, was confiscated from a woman in the Loomis area that had way too many animals  - his story can be found here http://auburnjournal.com/detail/184231.html

Luke is about 1 - 2 years old and has a gorgeous, almost silver, sable coat.  His only health problem is that he's too thin.  Once he gets some meat on his bones he will be a very handsome fella.  
Luke bonds easily with people.  He is a leaner and likes to have his head rubbed.  He seems interested in other dogs but doesn't react when on leash.
Luke has no training whatsoever.  However, this will change soon, as he is with Eleza at Paws in Progress in Sacramento.  Luke seems to be a very nice temperament mellow dog that will make a great family pet soon.  He seems like he will make an excellent alert dog - he will bark or grumble when he hears something outside but can't see it, but does not nuisance bark.  
Luke likes to play in the water, he loves playing ball, and he is very treat motivated.  For now he is getting some good love, grub and training.  Luke has been neutered and is up to date on all of his shots.
