Lady is about 4 years old and a real cutie!
She did quite a happy dance when she was taken out of the kennel!  But as the evaluator was talking, Lady lay down under the table and settled in.
Lady is good around other large dogs. She doesn’t mind hanging out with them but she doesn’t like a dog that is too active or tries to jump on her. She is sometimes barky at first, or will give submissive kisses to both male and female dogs. She seems like she would be happiest as an only dog. She is doing very well in her foster home with an easy going male.
At first Lady didn’t seem to know what a cat was. As she has settled in more, she is giving them much more attention and will search for them and chase if they run. She also shows a bit of prey drive towards small dogs.
Lady is crate trained and will sleep quietly through the night. Her foster home reports that she hasn’t had any housebreaking accidents (but they do take her out quite a bit). They also introduced Lady to water and after coaxing, she was swimming. Lady absolutely loves people and wants to be affectionate. She really enjoys going for walks each day.
Lady loves carrying toys around in her mouth and has a very cute personality. She will make someone a great companion.
