Buddy is about 15 months old and is a fun loving, playful male German Shepherd who came into our program after his owner could not keep him anymore.  He needs to be with another compatible dog, male or female.  He rides great in the car, interacts well with the German Shepherd pack in his foster home and is affectionate with people.  He has a loud alarm bark but is generally quiet otherwise.  Buddy is a very inquisitive boy.  He loves to check everything out on his walks.  He is a very quick learner and has a wonderful upbeat attitude.  He takes treats very gently.  Buddy loves his toys, and likes to tear them up if he can.  He is great in the house and likes to hang around his fosterers.  He really enjoys his daily exercise and will need to continue that in his new home. Buddy does great in the car, even on twisty mountain roads.  He is best with dog buddies and people around every 4-6 hours or so. Buddy is being fostered in the foothills of the Sierras but sometimes arrangements to meet him can be made for Elk Grove, Jackson, Lodi or similar areas.
