Avenal is about 2 years old, is large weighing about 85 pounds.  He is a GSD/Nordic cross, has a plush coat, and is great with people.   He is OK with cats and is easy to walk.    Avenal has not had much formal training, but he is very willing and compliant, he just needs to know what people want him to do.   Avenal has sometimes been good around other dogs.  However he has growled at some while on leash.  We don't know him well enough yet to know if he would be good to live with another dog although as he relaxes he seems more easygoing around some of the other foster dogs.  He walks on busy walking trails easily.   We do not know about housetraining yet.   He is wonderful with people of all ages and is an overall submissive type of male with a happy attitude.
