Cooper is a handsome male GSD, approximately three years old. Due to kennel stress, he was scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, he received a one-day reprieve and was rescued from the Stockton Shelter with no time to spare. Once outside of the shelter and in his foster home Cooper started to relax and his true nature started to emerge. Cooper not only has a sweet soul, he has a silly side too. He gets the zoomies and seeks affection from his foster Mom and Dad with head nudges, paws on an arm or leg, and a lean against them. He has three resident GSDs to pal around with, observed the backyard chickens, and peeked at the resident cat, sometimes letting out a bark to let him know he saw him. Cooper is housebroken and sleeps in a crate overnight. He is working on leash training, the command “sit”, and learning to settle in his crate during the day for short intervals. Cooper would do best with someone who is experienced, patient, and will keep a consistent schedule with him. This gentle boy is looking to connect with his forever person. FOSTERED IN ACAMPO
